The Company was founded in 1999 by Mr K M Paramasami and established under the name of Sri Balaji Export, located at Salem, Tamil Nadu. Mr Paramasami has been associated with the grocery business since the time his father (late Mr Marappa Gounder) ran grocery establishments in Sri Lanka.
